
Biography
Danyang started dancing at the age of four, she always believes that dance is a way to communicate with the world. Currently she is a contemporary dance student in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
She received complete classical ballet training in Shenzhen Arts School (2012-2019) and won the honor of outstanding graduate. Danyang performed lots of classic pieces such as "The Nutcracker" and "Raymond", as well as many national-level large-scale performances such as “CCTV Spring Festival Gala Evening”, “the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up”. She has worked with international choreographers including Akram Khan, Ohad Naharin, Luc Jacobs, Wessel Oostrum.
Danyang is the recipient of The Hong Kong Jokey Club Scholarships 2019- 2021. She won the The excellent composition award in 2018 Chinese civilization competition, Bronze prize for choreography in 10th Dance Competition in Shenzhen, China. In addition, she also received the title of “Excellent Volunteer” and “The angel of charity” by the Chinese Love Alliance in 2019.
